I'm not moving

Tanya hit 'send' on her email page. An email for her cousin Nikki all the way in Australia. During the holidays, Tanya would be flying over to meet her cousin after 10 years. She couldn't wait.
So many years ago, Tanya's cousin came to the States to visit. They were young then, not even old enough to attend kindergarten. They had so much fun, but the family didn't come back after that. The only connection - internet.
They both used it really well, they would email each other birthday notes, jokes and different things that each of them go through. Tanya always saw her cousin as an outgoing person, so full of jokes and fun. She wanted to meet her and sit down to have all sorts of girl talks (:
In Nikki's recent email, she had said that they would go do lots and lots of shopping, have fun at her birthday party and all sorts of things. It boosted up Tanya's excitement.

Two months later, Tanya was in the plane, on the way to Australia to meet her cousin. She landed late at night and it was understandable that Nikki was asleep. The next morning dawned and Tanya went down to see her cousin. Upon seeing her, Tanya got excited and wanted to give her a hug. All she got was a tired 'hey' and Nikki's back. She was shocked and the first thing that came to her mind was, 'what?'. After that, Nikki left the house to do a project done at a friend's. So much for the girl talks and shopping.
It wasn't till Tanya's second day in Australia that her cousin and her had a conversation which were nothing that Tanya expected. That night in bed, she lay down and thought about all that had happened between them. She couldn't take it, her cousin, the one cracking jokes over the internet, didn't seem to wanna talk. Tanya thought it was just because she was shy and wanted to give it a few days to see what it was like.
A week later, Tanya came to a conclusion that Nikki wasn't the speaking type, but she could express so much more when she was writing. Though all that Tanya expected had came crashing down, she knew there was till a bond between her cousin and her. Maybe someday both of them could really have that girl talk.
