She didn't want anyone to see her,
So she hid,
In her room, she let the tears out
Those tears she's been holding back.
'Cause her father left her,
Without saying goodbye.
He just lay there,
On the hospital bed,
With everyone in tears around him.
He couldn't respond to her hug,
Or even her 'I love you' that she gently whispered in his ear.
It broke her heart, seeing him there.
The whole family and friends,
Standing around him, but he, not able to see them.
All his life, she remembered,
He was strong and healthy.
When he fell sick,
He was still a cheerful man.
No one could see him without giving out a laugh,
He'll reach out to the highest of people,
To lowest of them all.
He always did what was best for others,
Not for himself.
She won't let that memory past her,
She won't let go of him,
She will, though,
Be the daughter he wanted her to be.
No one would take his place,
For it had a special one in her heart.
It's untouchable,
No matter how much you try to reach it.
She loves him,
She always will.
