It's only life

She leaps into the air
And gives a split,
A perfect one, I have to say,
Landing on her two feet,
Continuing her routine
Spinning around, giving her best.
Again she gives another jump
Spinning around in the air
But, oh, she doesn't land on her feet.
She stumbled, not able to balance,
Which let to a fall,
Her heart burst into tears, hearing the gasps of the audience
Even so, she gets up
Continiuing her routine, not missing a count
She gives one last perfect jump, landing well
A broad smile spread across her face,
When she hears shouts of praise from the audience.
She got a standing ovation and several bouquets of flowers
Taking her last bow,
She walks in with pride written all over her face.

While on her bed
She still imagines that moment,
Praying and hoping
One day, she'll be in that dream.
