you know I die for

I'm SO bored.
I can blame you now, Ivan Goh.
Where are you? ):

So far, Canada's been amazing.
But this afternoon, it was like,
freaking warm.
Or maybe I'm just adjusted to the weather (:
Anyway.
I felt really really warm this afternoon.
I could not sleep with my sweater on under my comforter.
So, using my brains,
I shrugged off my sweater.
And slept with my tank top.
Even that, I could not like,
let my whole body stay in there.
SO hot.
When I drifted off to sleep,
Mika the princess dog was right next to me,
on my bed.
She slept there for awhile,
even before I went to sleep.
While I was reading Twilight, she came in.
And just as I drifted of,
Ivan, my wonderful, most favourite cousin walked past my door.
Knowing Mika would jump off the bed when the doorbell rang or something,
actually, she can't jump on the bed and off because it's too high.
In cases where she's excited, I guess she will.
In this case,
grr, she was excited, but not THAT excited to jump off the bed.
She started barking, instantly waking me up.
It pissed me off.
She has done that, like,
a hundred and one times already.
So I picked her up and put her down on the floor,
and honestly, I had this big urge to throw her down instead.
But yeah.
It would not be fun to be the only princess in this house then.
So yeah.
Mika is still a gorgeous one.
She won't leave me alone.
Ivan, you're NOT gonna tell anyone what I said.
Really.
Keep it to yourself, for your own entertainment.

THAT, did not take up my whole day.
It was,
wait, I do not know the time I went to bed.
You know why?
Well, there were a few people fiddling with the switch box yesterday.
Somehow, they turned off all the power.
So my clock went bonkers.
I had to reset it.
Thing is, I did not know how to do that.
At that time, I actually did not know why the clock went bonkers.
It was just blinking the time hours ago.
I thought it was the alarm.
It said '5.30' or something.
For a second, I actually thought,
my cousins were playing a prank on me.
Knowing the pig I can be,
I thought they set up the alarm and like,
wanted to wake me up in the wee hours of the morning.
So, I pulled out the plug, thinking,
"In your face, guys !"
But I realized, they will not do that.
Ivan WAS mean, when it came to grapes and his laptop,
but, no, he was not THAT mean.
At least, I do not think so.
Well, yeah.I pulled out the plug.
The next morning, I was like,
"Dang, no clock"
I got up, walked next door to see the time.
I think I was stupid for doing that.
But I did.
And it was like, 9 am or something.
So I went back to sleep.
Still, I was so conscious of the time,
I woke up at 10 am, or something.
My aunt actually asked me,
why I was up so early.
Good for me now,
my clock is fixed.
I can see the time again (:

it's too late

I miss Anis ):
Where are you, dear?

so kiss me, like you miss me, coz I know that you do

Dearest beautiful gorgeous magnificent silky red peep-toes that is sitting by the corner at home,

I MISS YOU.

I really do. You're just sitting in the corner.
I feel like going home, grab you and bring you back here.
In Canada.
We have to come back to Canada.
My trip is not done yet,
I can't leave.
But to take you.
Maybe I will.

Aww, I love you, dear red shoes.
Don't let anyone you don't know touch you,
don't get yourself stolen.
I want to come home and put you on my feet.
You'll look gorgeous.

Love <3,>

I'll look after you

Shopping again? No kidding ! I've been shopping shopping and shopping. And it feels wonderful (: Of course it does, you're talking about me, the shopaholic.

I'm the one that beat both my cousins when it came to buying something. Not even an hour since I stepped in the mall, I got myself a bag. A stripey pink bag that I love (: But but, throughout the whole day, I'm just gonna get to the conclusion, I think my cousins bought more clothes than me. Family's craziest shopaholic, beaten. By guys, mind you. BOTH guys. It's unbelievable. But I believe it.

The mall was a three hour drive from Calgary, all the way to Edmonton. Well, it took us two and a half hours because of the smooth traffic. Not because of the way my uncle drove. He did not speed, I think. I was sleeping, I don't know. But hey, it's Canada I'm in, not Malaysia. You actually see cops by the roadside, catching people who speed, and other that do not wear seat belts. Seat belts at the backseat is a must here. I'm so not use to it.

We had an early start today, a very early on for me, I must say. I don't know why, but I could not sleep the night before and I stayed up until three in the morning. I woke up at half past six, it was crazy.

Still, I shopped. And shopped. And shopped. I had fun, really. Right now, I've bought tops, jeans and a bag. I'm missing shoes and I want a pair of Aldo shoes. Because they're really comfy and make me smile when I see the price HERE, in Canada. Not in Malaysia. I cry seeing the price of a pair of Aldo's in Malaysia.

Am I crapping? Oh, I know I am. But I feel happy (: Plus, Christmas is coming up people !

I did not want to post a Christmas tree. So typical Christmas reminder. So yeah (: I'm in the mood for more shopping for presents. And I think I need to get a lot this year. Maybe not, I don't know. I just want my Aldo shoes that my cousin promised me. Aww, I love him. He feeds me iced caps !

all for love, the Father gave

Another iced cap?
Why, thank you so much !
It was really nice of you, but yeah.
You didn't really have to get a huge one for me.
Haven't you noticed that it's cold,
It's really cold for this poor poor Malaysian girl
That gets hot sun 24/7, 365 days.
Thanks anyway (:
You rock !

you love me, you like her

This is so peer pressure. I haven't even watched the show yet. But everybody is posting all these pictures of Twilight. So I want to do it too ! (:

It's actually only for my own entertainment. I so freaking like the posters. It looks so magical.

But yeah, I'm no fan of Twilight. It's because I haven't been bothered to read the books. It was one particular Friday in school, when I just came out from a club meeting that I see EVERYONE holding a Twilight book. Most of the time, when you say EVERYONE, you're probably just exaggerating. But I'm NOT. There really was everyone carrying this book. I thought it was crazy.

Not to mention, the whole book idea came to Stephanie Meyer, the author of Twilight in a dream. wow. What at way to make to the best-selling list. I think I should put all my dreams in a book, hoping to make it a number one bestseller. I'm not criticizing her, I just thinks it's well... funny? This book, I wonder if it sold more than Harry Potter. I don't even read Harry Potter !

And through all these blogs about Twilight and all the screams I got from friends who are SO excited for the movie, I'm actually curious what is it that makes everyone just LOVE it. Truth is, after I finish reading my book, I think I'll borrow Twilight from the library to check it out. If I can find it. It's probably not there due to it's popularity. Let's hope I don't fall asleep reading it, just like what happened when I tried reading Harry Potter. Sorry, I'm just not into this kind of things. I love my chick lits. I did recently read a vampire series, it was interesting. I finished a book in a day. It's the Kissing Coffins series and I'm yet to read book 5.

For what it's worth, the libraries here are awesome. They have some really good books, unlike Malaysian library that I gave up going after one visit. They don't have Meg Cabot books ! Seriously, even though I haven't read a single one of her books, I think she's one good author, since her books are always the number one bestsellers. Here, on the other hand, you can find Meg Cabot, J.K. Rowling and even Stephanie Meyer. Needles to say, the Malaysian libraries should update their shelves. Reader's corner has more business than the public libraries.

I've just finish reading an Inside Girl novel. I know it does not sound... decent? Yeah, but it's an innocent book that's like any normal chick lit. It was not fun reading it, no suspense or anything.

This book though, is not quite too bad.

I think I did see it in a few bookstores. But when I started this book, I did not want to put it down. I read half the book in a day. I prefer Sophie Kinsella, though (: Being a chick lit. lover, Sophie Kinsella is a good one, on my opinion.

If you haven't read a book by a Malaysian author, try this one.

Oh, sorry. I could not get a picture. It's titled Sweetheart From Hell by May-Zhee Lim. She's 16, but she has published 2 books already. And, if you do plan to read this book, I'll alert you for the major major bimbo-ness. Just reading the back of the book, you'll know it's SO bimbotic, plus, her blog is bimbotic too. The book is great for self-amusement.

I don't know what's with this post, all about books. Yeah, I love books and can't live without them, but I've never been given the title ' book worm ' before. Still, I don't know what the conclusion is from this post. Do you?

I was fine, 'till 7.05

I just visited Carolyn's. It was a so happen kinda thing, because I decided to go through my link list. So yeah, first thing I see is a picture of Emily Wong, a fellow school mate who is just so sweet. Anyway. I scanned through the post and it they've known each other for 8 years, I think, already. So Carolyn went on to tell about how they both met. She said, it was the first day of school and it had something to do with pencils. And, boom ! I realized it's probably the same way I met my ' ex-best friend ' as we both call it, Soong Mei Shia (:

Sorry, I could not get a picture. I wanted to snag one from Facebook, and I realized Mei Shia does not have a Facebook. Then, I considered Friendster, and said no because it seems that Friendster has virus, so yeah. Scratch all that.

Anyway. Shucks, I typed a whole load and it got deleted. pfft. So, I met Mei Shia day one of Primary School. Or maybe not. At least Mei Shia said it wasn't, it was this 'test' thing that we had to take before the school semesters. Orientation, I suppose. And well, we all head off to class and I guess Mei Shia didn't expect anything so she didn't bring any stationery. My mum asked me to lend her one of my pencil. So there, one pencil for Mei Shia and we couldn't be separated since.

During that orientation, they gave a 'test', like I've said. And it was like easy-peasy until it came to this part where they put a few letters with blanks. Something like this,

a, _, _, d, e, _, _, _, i

Well, yeah. I stared at it and I was thinking,

" What's this? "

So, I quietly lean over and see what Mei Shia was doing. Turns out, they were asking for the ABC's ! So, yay yay, I wrote everything down. The same thing came out for the Math session, asking for numbers. I was smarter that time (: haha.

Until now, I don't know why we aren't best friends anymore. Maybe it was because we got into different classes after Standard 3. Which was not fair to me at first. When both our parents found out we were both in different classes, they just never ceased to tell us that we should continue being best friends. It didn't work out, I guess.

Above all this, I think we had an awesome time all those 3 years. At least I did have a really good time hanging out with her. For her birthday this year, I gave her a pencil and she gave me this questioning look and started laughing. But I also gave her a note, and I told her that I won't ever forget the time we met. Honestly, I wanted to get the exact brand of pencil that I landed her that day. Maybe I can remember the little small details that no one else can during a long time ago, but this, it's the one thing I just can't remember.

Oh yeah, I love this girl. I can go on and on about how the times we spent together, but maybe some things, should just be our memories. There's not much speciality to it once everyone knows, right?

all that I was meant to be

Have you watched Sweeney Todd? I have, just a little. Not the whole show, not even half, I think. But I want to finish the show. It features Johnny Depp, the ugliest person on earth and I don't know how so many people can like him. Anyway. This show is a musical, so it's like, Grease, High School Musical and Hairspray. Basically, you already know what to expect through the scenes of the show. Songs, songs and more songs.

And like this young gentleman, whom I thought was a girl, specifically, Keira Knightlely. Well, maybe it was like the ' all the mind ' thing, since when you say ' Johnny Depp ', I think ' Orlando Bloom ' and ' Keira Knightley ". You get the picture, don't you? So, this guy had a solo. He sang this song called Joanna. And it was like,

I feel you, Joanna,
I'll steal you,
Babble babble babble.

Needless to say, the song has been inside my head ever since I saw that show last week. Thanks a bundle to you, Joanne, for singing during the show. It's like such a lame song but it's stuck in my head.

So one day, when I get the chance, I'll be watching that show again. It was really good, the first quarter of it was good, anyway.

Oh, the show is about a barber, anyway. That's all I know.
